We store the AI analysis result, your overall score, verdict, roast line, and the mode/tone you selected. We do not store your resume text after processing — it is passed to the AI and then discarded. For website roasts, we store the URL and extracted page content. For product roasts, we store the form inputs.
All roast results are private by default. They are stored in our database with a private share slug. Only you (via direct URL) can access your results unless you explicitly choose to make them public using the 'Create Public Link' feature.
Resume text is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic or OpenAI) for processing and is not stored in our database. Share cards for resume roasts are sanitized — they never contain names, email addresses, phone numbers, company names, or any personal identifying information.
We use a hash of your IP address (not the IP itself) for rate limiting. This hash cannot be reversed to identify you.
For website roasts, we capture desktop and mobile screenshots of your submitted URL. Screenshots may be cached temporarily for performance. We do not share screenshots publicly unless you explicitly make your roast public.
We use Anthropic (Claude) or OpenAI (GPT-4) to generate analysis. Your submitted content is processed according to those providers' terms of service. We do not authorize providers to train on your content.
Roast results are retained for 90 days. Uploaded resume files (if/when supported) are deleted immediately after processing. Screenshot files may be cached for up to 7 days.
You can request deletion of your roast results at any time by contacting us. Since results are private by default and not linked to an account, we identify records by the result URL you provide.
